Terms of service

These terms of service (“Terms”) govern your use of couchshaver.com (the “Site”), operated by Really Something Products, LLC (the “Company”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The Site provides information about The Original Couch Shaver™ (the “Product”) and lets you join a launch waitlist and contact support. The Site does not sell the Product directly and processes no payments. All purchases are made on Amazon and are governed by Amazon’s terms, prices, and policies, including Amazon’s return policy. Nothing on the Site modifies your agreement with Amazon.

By joining the waitlist you agree to receive a confirmation email and launch-related emails from the Company. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all mailings. How we handle the information you give us is described in our privacy policy at /privacy.

The Site and its content — text, photography, graphics, logos, and design — are owned by the Company or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. The Original Couch Shaver™ and the Couch Shaver logo are trademarks of the Company. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission, except as permitted for personal, non-commercial viewing.

You agree not to: (a) use the Site in a way that violates any law; (b) interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by circumventing rate limits or security measures; (c) use automated means to scrape or harvest content or personal information from the Site; or (d) submit false, misleading, or abusive content through the waitlist or support forms.

The Product is designed for upholstered furniture and must be used as described in the instructions at /instructions, including the list of unsupported materials. The Company is not responsible for damage resulting from use contrary to those instructions. Site content — including fabric-compatibility guidance — is general information, not a guarantee of results on any particular item.

The Product carries a one-year limited warranty from the Company, described at /warranty. That warranty is the Company’s sole product warranty and is separate from these Terms and from any rights you have through Amazon.

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES REGARDING THE SITE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. THIS SECTION CONCERNS THE SITE ONLY; THE PRODUCT WARRANTY AT /WARRANTY IS UNAFFECTED.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SITE, AND THE COMPANY’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW SUCH LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS, LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW PERMITS.

We may change or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also revise these Terms; the current version will always be posted here with its “last updated” date, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state specified in the counsel-drafted final version, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. [PENDING COUNSEL]
